Buttercup Love

Oh Q… You bring out the green in green stuff, and you make yellow stuff seem like it doesn't suck.
Oh Q… You make it acceptable to spend an hour and a half tweaking an image that most folks won't look at for more than 20 seconds - nor will they have any clue that 3 different applications were used in order to make that marvelous moment of joy.
Oh Q…

I wanted to post something pithy, but I just stare at this image grinning widely.
"Buttercup Love?"
Love the Buttercup.
True story:
The hardest part of this post was writing the blurb. The rest of it just happened in a fugue state of stachey goodness. And then, I sat smiling at it - smiling widely, trying to come up with something pithy to write…
Update:
Swapped out the picture for a more accurate depiction of my tech addiction.
Truth is truth, kids…
Every time I look at this, there's something nagging at the edges of my brain. It finally came to the forefront. Your shadow. Attention to detail, yo. You got mad skilz.
If I hadn't been able to get the shadow to work, i NEVER would have posted it. That little detail was a make or break point for me...
I still think it could be a little tighter than it is, but that is just me being my own worst critic (as usual).
One interesting note: The original had me holding a Mac Laptop (my 13 inch iBook G4, btw) so the shadow was made to fit that. When I swapped out the iBook for the laptop, I had to change the shadow as well.
From the shadow, to the iPhone, to the lovely little buttercups… it's top-notch.
I think there is a dandelion mixed in, in the E, halfway down, little to the right, NO, left side....
Great site Jason
-Joe Suro...
lol, Joe. Glad you like the site.
I looked for more than twenty seconds... Righteous
Sadly, I've spent WAY more than twenty seconds looking over this image.
I think people call that "self love."
And I'm pretty sure it can cause blindness...
